“ What a fantastic gem in Little Village! I went to Taquerías Atotonilco for dinner with a friend today, and I have to say, it was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the steak torta, and let me tell you it was hands down the best torta I’ve had in a long time. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, and I was really impressed to see they include an entire avocado in the sandwich—no shortcuts here! But the star of the show was the Carne Asada. The steak was incredibly flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. Every bite had just the right balance of seasoning and freshness. From one to ten, this sandwich was a solid 10. The service was just as impressive. The servers were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself was spotless very clean and welcoming. I also appreciated being able to watch the kitchen at work; you could tell everything was made fresh and with care. If you’re craving authentic Mexican food, this spot is a must try. I’ll definitely be coming back soon! ”

“ First time in Chicago and I had heard we should go to this place for tacos. It was amazing I had the pastor/pork tacos they are freshly cooked on the rotator. The meal comes with a complementary salad that they are known for. I had also a papaya con leche which was also freshly made there. 2 Tacos was just the right amount for me. Great service and I would come again. If you’re taking the train take the pink line to Pulaski and walk to 26th st and you’ll be there in about 15 minute walk. ”
